Happy Mother's Day!

One of the most beautiful words in any language is the word mother.  The word is like a symphony which brings out great feelings of joy and pleasure and a word that has so many meanings.  This one word expresses love, caring, devotion, sacrifice, pride, creation, nurturing and empathy to name just a few.  The list goes on as these few words can only scratch the surface.  From the very first moment that a mother first sees the head of her new born baby come into the world, the overwhelming rush of emotion takes over and consumes her whole being.  She is a co-creator with God in bringing life into the world and she like God shows the greatest amount of love for her child.    

Mothers through the grace of God create this miracle and instantly take on the awesome responsibility of loving and caring for their new born child.  Our mothers give up a very big portion of their own life to give to us.  The love they show influences and affect everyone around them and the generations to come.  We give thanks for our mothers and we give thanks to our Lord and God for giving us His example through them.  We honor you on this day, and pray that our Lord bless you and grant you many years.  Happy Mothers Day!
